Received an email alert from Right Horse Right Home - the horse appeared to be just what I am looking for. Now I am a cheapskate and seriously object to paying to inquire about a horse, however it was just soo right - and only 35 miles away so I coughed up my £9.99. Six hours later I thought I would show the OH the possible new addition but when I went onto the website the advert had been withdrawn 6HOURS!!!! Feeling right royally scammed

That's a shame.
Fwiw I spotted a lovely pony on there and ended up with him. He wasn't suitable for what I needed him for in the end, but he has a ridiculously amazing fairy tale loan home with a friend now and can come back to me any time.
Maybe they changed their mind, or the horse went really quickly...keep on looking though, especially now you've paid your fee!

It only lasts for a month and there are very few horses on there that I would consider as they mostly seem to have (disclosed) issues

If by word of mouth why would the owners bother to advertise it?
I guess because when people are selling they cast the net out there so to speak.
I booked to see a horse a while ago, the owner called me 4 hours after booking to say someone knew the horse from the showing circuit and had paid the full asking amount there and then.

I understand it’s frustrating looking. I’ve had more than one occasion of being beaten to a sale. The current sales climate doesn’t appear to be slowing down much so it’s something you’ll have to take on the chin and keep searching.
