Right Im getting sick of this sore leg lark

How long will it be before I can ride properly after breaking the ligament in my leg. It seems everytime I plan or even arrange to do a dressage or even go to the beach just to go out something happened? This time last year sid was on boxrest after colic surgery now i cant ride properly because of my leg and its been two weeks since i did it. Arrrrghhhhhh! Im going mad! Also I have a big black cloud following me around now serious my life is depressing at the minute especially money wise! Must just be my bad luck! Rambling now thanks x

Hmmm. Ligaments and tendons....... not good.

Hate to say this, but I ruptured my right Achilles tendon in December last year and I am STILL in a cast! I have been told that it will be at least another six months before I am walking or riding again.

Have you been to the hospital - are you weightbearing or on crutches - how is it being treated?

I am weight bearing and can walk and get on and walk but getting off is horendous someone has to hold my leg so I cant land on it. My ankle is till the size of a golf ball and bruised. It doesnt hurt to touch much anymore and walking is better but I want to ride properly again! Gosh what did you do to yours? Sounds like its still painful!

My friend had 6 months off she did cruciate ligament in knee.Maybe you are rushing things a bit if its still bruised then arnica might help.
