Tomorrow I SHALL ride. Yes the school is 1ft or so under snow....but sod it. Been 2 weeks nearly now I've not been able to ride at all [just moved house/yards this week in this bloody weather too!] and I'm just getting damn fed up.

If I knew the fields well enough, I'd go out round them quite happily....but I don't and the roads are awful here so that's a no-no.

So sod it. I shall make some nice fresh hoofprints in the school I think!!!

I hate this damn weather. Does anyone know when it'smeant to be shifting yet?

Anyone else getting miffed bored and fed up now? I want water that works, floors that aren't slippy and limbs which aren't getting frozzed 24/7!!!

Went out about half an hour ago and it was raining and we due rain tomorrow so it gonna be an ice ring tomorrow!

You have that much snow we have a cm! I've been riding in it though without a problem, didn't have much choice with a horse on trial you have to make the most of them

Lol the school's not been ridden in, so it's just sort of accumulated over the week! Everywhere else just a couple of inches

Be careful - ours is like concrete covered with 4 inches of very balling snow - couldn't even manage one lap before having to get off to pick out feet and gave up very quickly.

I haven't ridden in about 2 weeks (all of this week the arena has been frozen and the week before when we could use the arena the lights were broken!) so I know how you feel!

Hopefully we're boxing to one of my instructors tomorrow - that's if we can get out the yard as the road is lethal!

I feel massively guilty. We have NO snow and yet I still haven't ridden all week. Bad me!

In my defence I am still working and have acquired an extra two so now have four to put in and out, feed, muck out. And the tap is frozen so I am carting water by bucket. And work has been busy too.

Glad it's not just me going spare!

My lad never gets it balling up in his feet, so no worries there. I'm not looking to do a lot...just walking's fine with me. Just need to be on a horse again!!! Bored out of my mind as have 6 in at the moment needing to be workedand can't do anything with them.
