I am desperate - my circumstances have suddenly changed and I need to downsize my horse numbers ASAP. We are having our own yard built over the summer/autumn, but the field I am currently renting whilst building work is going on has suddenly been taken away from me, and I have a few weeks to move/sell a selection of horses (youngsters). My yearling will be advertised soon too, just waiting to get a good pic (Suffolk show on thurs so hoping to then). I have advertised my foal on H&H - http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/marketplace/classified/4-details-horses-for-sale_180045.htm I know the wording is a bit rubbish, but they hardly give you any lines! I have halved the price that I originally wanted for her - obviously she can't leave mum for a while, but just to know she has somewhere to go will be a weight off of my mind. Just wondering if anyone had other suggestions of places that I could advertise! Thanks in advance

I think horsemart is probably the place with the most traffic going through it, and if I were buying a nice warmblood foal, I would really want to know who the parents were, what they had done etc., so I think that being able to get more words is going to be vital to you selling it. Pics of the parents would also be helpful.
Also, I know very little about foal conformation, but that photo (and Im pretty sure it is just the photo) makes the hind leg look very straight; if a better photo were available (or an additional one that shows that that leg is correct) I think the padvert would really benefit from it.
As long as both the parents have done something useful, I think the price looks about right for a quick sale.
