Does anyone know if it is cheaper to buy tickets beforehand, please? Going down on the 31st Hope the shopping is good too.

There should be offers in some of the local horse magazines for cheaper tickets.

I have just got two free tickets for Saturday or Sunday in this week's Friday-ad and they don't mention anything about cheaper tickets for pre booking.
Wednesday (31st) is the cheaper day, tickets are £16 adult, £12 oap and £8 child. All other days are £22, £16 and £11. I think you have to pay parking as well.
