My cob is now at week 14 post surgery and doing great, once he gets his six month check up in Feb, I plan to start riding him again, he's just a hack, we don't hurry, maybe the odd canter, has anyone a plan of bringing an injured horse back into work, how do i start, ie walk, for how long? When do I introduce trot, how long etc I have no facilities at yard, only stables and grazing, a small lane to a village, is safe to ride on, I'm not sure were or how to restart him, he is 16, and hadn't had a saddle or any tack on since July, I was planning this week to put bridle on, and practise him standing at the mounting block again
