Ringwood Cockatoo goes into the lead at Pratoni

Just seen Bettina Hoy and Ringwood Cockatoo have gone into the lead with a dressage score of 27.1 this morning.

27.1!!!!

i thought Ingrid's mark was good - the dressage judges must be on happy pills this w/e!!

Thats mental, remember FEI are x1.5 of a "normal" BE score....

Didn't she get something similar to that at the last Europeans? At Blenheim she was well in the lead but she had a stop at the house leading down to the water on the xc. Sadly for her, her xc hasn't been very consistent for a while now.

No i know... she's had some sickening disappointments XC. if it was me i'd be tempted to retire him to do pure dressage...

Does anyone know why she doesn't seem to be competing much? I just had a look at her BE record, she's only really competed RC this year, with a couple of other rides but not at all much......is she planning on retiring and just focusing on producing?

31.3 last Europeans so another big improvement. Would be interesting to know if it is the best ever at that level.

Yay, Go Bettina! What a fabulous score, hopeful he'll do well xc as he deserves it after so many near successes. Never mind nationality he is an outstanding horse.
