My horse has had ringworm for about the last 6 weeks, god knows where he got it from. It is right in his saddle area and where his girth goes. Some parts are still thick and scabby, how long will it take for them to go or at least enough for me to be able to ride without it rubbing? Many thanks!!

Get some Malaseb shampoo from the vets, clears both ringworm and the bacteria that causes rainscald.

just got back in from having vet, and guess what my mare as got ringworm, i have got no idea where she got it from as not even been off yard in ages, vet gave and i really mean gave me some IMAVEROL, hope it works

Make sure you wipe the ringworm with Immaverol but also do about 2 inches around each spot getting down to the skin, as it spreads quickly. Also disinfect the stable, brushes, rugs (if necessary). Anything the horse has been in contact with. It is a Bl***y pain!

Immaverol works well.
