hia my horse has just started developing what I think is ringworm. He has a very small patch on the side of his face. Its very annoying because there are only two people on the yard who are treating it out of about 5 that've got it so its going to be very hard to get rid of! Anyone know what the best treatment for this is?
thanks

My youngster brought it home from a training yard, I thought it was some fly bites on her back and didn't treat it initially, used the same saddle on the other horse and they both got it so badly my vet was horrified. Nothing worked of all the accepted preparations, so I used the active aloe vera gel, and that started to heal it and clear it up immediately, so that would be my recommendation.

To let you see it.............

I was sooooooo pathetic about it.............because I'd never seen anything like it in all my years, I even asked the vet if any horse had ever died of it......................
