RIP DENNIS FISHER. X

We have had some very sad news today.

Our dear friend Dennis Fisher has passed away at HOYS. Some of you will know and remember him as one of the best leg up stewards their ever was. He is one of the countries top show stewards and only this year he received The Dorian Williams Trophy at the RIHS for a Lifetime Achievement to the showing world.

Dennis had been suffering from Cancer and despite this still carried on with his season in a normal manner, forever the professional.

He was a wonderful man and all that knew him will remember him forever. He will be sadly missed.

so sorry to hear about Dennis, he was such a wonderful man and had a very special way with horses.

i met dennis at many local shows both judging and stewarding.his daughter lucy rode for a friend of mine which is how i first met him.he was a true gent with so much knowledge.he will b greatly missed.

We were at HOYS yesterday and they did a tribute to Dennis. Everyone stood for a one minute's silence with a photo of him smiling away being shown on the big screens.

RIP Dennis Fisher, a huge loss.
