Got to the yard this morning and was concerned about the unusual 'activity' in the field adjacent to mine

... when I returned lunch time I found that one of the lovely Shires had gone down

... now he leaves a sad field companion, who I can hear quietly calliing .... So so sad and am in tears writing this .... it is too close to home

Oh ES this is such sad news I went up the yard and herd about John At least he is in no more pain.
Poor Poor Charlotte. and RIP John. He really was a lovley horse I showed him a couple of time and drove him aswell he was such a gentle giant. I here Kia is now out with Charlotte so lets hope she is alittle happier now ES. I remember when Ricks went Yogi really seams to miss him and seamed as sad as me.
Lets hope she enjoys her new field companion...

Charlotte is doing fine and Kia is in the same field in his own paddock.
