RIP Jumbo

A sad evening. Just held a liveries horse while he was PTS. She has gone away for the weekend. Think it was probably better she wasn't there.Her best friend was there and some others from the yard. Jumbo was a traditional gentle shire x. He was an elderly soul who had been unwell and sad for sometime. Just relieved that he is no longer in such alot of pain and it was an honour to be there for him and others at this delicate time.x

Well done you I know how it feels. I have unfortunatly had to do this twice for two different good friends who would have been there if they could. For the second time I even had to get her house keys and go through her paperwork so that I could phone her insurers and explain exactly what had happened and get them to speak to the vets.

But then she would do the same for me.
