Rip little Horsey

Around my way there are some Horses tetherd to the side of the road, all coloureds. Today one was hit and sadly didn't make it its so sad. I have rescued one of these before when they have pulled the tether up. Rip little Horsey!

Are they usually tethered out of the way of cars but this one got loose?

No they are tetherd along side a national speed limit road. They have always come and gone. They are generally well looked after. All have water, have hay when the grass is bare and the finer types have rugs on. I guess due to the rain the ground is wet so the spikes come up easily and the Horse went into the road.
