Mum phoned today to say that our darling Lola has finally lost her quality of life and she was pts at 13:00 (15:00 South Africa time). We got her from the SPCA 15 years ago as a 1 year old. She was the best dog ever, friendly and so happy. Mum is devastated and in bits and I feel so terrible that I'm here in the UK and she is in Johannesburg and has to go home to an empty house.
Please give your dog a hug today.

What a lovely long life she shared with your family....lots of nice memories to look back on ((hugs))
 
How very sad - but what a wonderful long life your Mum gave Lola. Its so gut wrenching losing a pet dog - Lots of hugs for you and your Mum.
