Just had a message from my mum, shes had to have her beloved horse PTS today.... aged 31, and mum had owned her for 28 years... and we both had many happy years with her.. and she was a horse in a million, *cant believe she bought her when I was 18!! and im 46 nearly now.. even rode her until the day before I gave birth to my daughter..

RIP Sherry.... we will miss you...

RIP Sherry, your mum must be devastated. What a lucky horse to be in the same home for very nearly all of her long life. It is lovely to own a horse for such a long time but it doesn't make the parting any easier so hugs to your mum.

Thank you.... Im just so gutted for my mum... 28 years is such a long time, she was part of the family, and even though Im in Spain, I still used to see her when I came over..

That horse taught me so much.. but we knew the day would come, and 31 is a fab age..
