My beautiful little girl was PTS this morning, aged 11. She had been going slowly downhill for the last month or so but this morning I just knew she had had enough. She was put to sleep with dignity and has been buried at home. Soph was a proper little lady, lovely manners and a real softy, always slept next to me at night and never gave me a moments worry. I miss her already and really dont know how I will cope without her cheeky little face. She was simply the best!

Awww I'm so sorry. I lost my first Spangle last October and reading posts like yours still make me cry, thinking of my own loss.

I know exactly how you feel. ((((Hugs))))

RIP Sophie. I hope she's found Jasper and they're up to a whole heap of mischief over rainbow bridge.

So sorry for your loss

it's such a difficult time but you'll always have your fantastic memories close to your heart.

R.I.P Sophie, run free with our old girl Bramble ... she will look after you

It is so hard for a while to accept their death and my heart goes out to you. No doubt she is at peace playing in the wonderful fields of paradise and looking forward to meeting with you again some day.
((((Hugs.))))

Thanks everyone for your kind words, it helps knowing that you lot understand. The house feels so empty without her tonight, I do have 2 other spangles and 3 moggies and they are all a bit subdued tonight as well. Soph had a very special place in my heart, she was just such a 'mummys girl", the other 2 are a bit more feisty. This is where I wish I had shares in Kleenex!!
