After a heart breaking morning, from finding Trixie with colic, to vet visits, painkillers and finally a decision.
She was put to sleep in familiar surroundings with familiar people and all the love in the world.
After informing the vet we had been told she was about 35 - 40, he said "40 +"... so she was a very old lady.
Can't type much now, i'm devastated beyond words. She was my best friend, my first pony, my rock for 10 wonderful years and life without her is going to be so hard.
I love her with all my heart and I hope that this, the hardest decision I have ever made, was the right one.
Special thanks must go to Brighteyes and Joya who were there to read my babbling texts and leave me supporting voicemails and texts. Thank you so much.
RIP my wonderful Trixie.
