My friend's beautiful coloured boy had to be put to sleep today. He was the most wonderful horse to do anything with. I got back into riding after getting on him one day and he reminded me how brilliant riding was!!!
He was bought for hunting and that was his passion. He was fearless and never stopped at anything he was pointed at.
Later on in life he just pottered around the local roads and eventually retired to a 'life on the farm'. He recently babysat my mare for me and she adored him. He was just so kind and patient - even with his stablemate, the silly thoroughbred who can't do anything without his big brother.
