ripped rug returned from online cleaners

has any1 had experience with this? its shredded in the lining in 3 places and is not useable, they said theyd repair it but it was a brand new rug last year and i ideally want it replaced, they said i couldnt even have my money back that i paid for it to be cleaned and reproofed, the man was very rude and implied that my rug was not as high standard as he usually recieves....it was in perfect condition when i sent it and a very well known make of rug...

Sounds like they r taking the piss!
I'm surprised they are still in business with an attitude like that.
I'd suggest to him his standard of service isn't as high standard as what ur used to dealing with !

i will be taking it a lot further...i found out tonight that another rug that went has a shredded lining aswell!

Just post the company name on here and see how many other people have had the same problem. Don't any crap from them and see about going to the law court where you can deal with claims not very high. Sorry I cann't think of the proper name. going senile

small claims court? yep i'm going to phone trading standards tomorrow and i have a professional letter written up already to be sent recorded delivery!
