Report into findings of fatalities in jumps racing. Softer ground has fewer fatalities. I would have thought that was obvious, but I suppose to do a scientific report everything has to be analysed.
Only where does that leave the hard ground specialist like Mr. Frisk and Tingle Creek?
They also report that the new hurdles lead to fewer falls. I thought that, even though I'm only watching on TV. Watching older races, the horses seem to knock down or go through the older birch and wood hurdles. All hurdles will be the new type.
