Road nails....

Can I ask if anyone had pics of what road nails should look like after being in for a week??

I think my farrier has put normal nails in, Mr Arnie is slipping a bit on the road and they look flat topped to me and I thought they should have the little bump in the middle??

Yes they should have a round bump in the middle, and if he is slipping they are probably normal nails. My horse only has one on each front foot and it really helps him on the road.

Hmm, thought so, me thinks farrier needs reminding that I wanted road nails! Mr Arnie is rather large to be ice skating!! thanks for replying

Yep,should be a 'nipple' like bump in the middle of the head They make a big difference to our lot too-we always have one in each shoe.
