My younger horse is recovering from injury
and after 12 weeks box rest, i have been advised by the vet to walk her for two weeks in arenas which i have (without any misbehaviour
) and then to progress to roadwork, which we have started this week.
My question is what is the benefit of roadwork, does it harden up their legs for more demanding work
, we are hoping to carry on eventing this year.
