Robinsons brushing boots

Has anyone else been given these for Christmas ?
Despite being XL, extra large, the velcro is too short. The bottom strap isn't even long enough to reach the metal loop so that it can double back. The other straps will go through the metal loop but cannot reach the "sticky" bit when they are doubled back.
This horse is CB partbred so does not have really heavy bone - just what you would find on MW hunter.
I think it must be a design fault. I'm hoping Robinsons will refund or replace without fuss. Phone lines closed now.

They're normally quite good about these things - it's maybe just a duff pair

I have always found them very good, had to return a couple of things and had no issues at all

I used to be a regular customer at Robinsons for years.
Their surface is so shite I haven't used them in over 3 years now, Nor derby house, my tack shop is far but it's a lot less hassle than Robinsons!
I have found their products very poor quality and the sizing inaccurate too. Just my experiences.
