I brought my mare of a life time a smart head collar when I went to the Robinsons store - before she went to rainbow bridge. It was lovely leather soft attractive, one of the nicest head collars I have seen. Two little horse heads on each side.

I never looked at the price just added to my trolley paid and went home, It looked lovely on her.
Well I cannot use it on her son as it was hers, so wanted to spoil him, too and looked on line, Couldn't find it on the head collar page with all the horses showing them off, until i saw the last picture on the page A blank white page with a head collar - no horse showing it off.

I saw a small twin head on the side and zoomed in and thought THAT IS IT :D:D:D:D great they still do them. Then Looked at the price £ 90 shock horror????:eek: Is that what I paid jeasus ..........

Very posh, looks comfy.

My lot just get bog standard triple stitched leather halters, if I bought one of those Sabre ones for every horse that would be 900 pounds (90 x 10 = 900 right? Just checking:eek:)

90 GBP today = $ 142

I've just paid about 10 Sabre halters for a horse :) ;)

:) My boy has always had cheap cr4py head collars. The only leather one he has is my first mares which in the 80's was a nice one but compare to today's is a cheap leather one (and only used when going to shows) .

Since loosing his mum its helping me spoiling him. This is such lovely leather, I looked in our local tack shop at their ones which were expensive and stiff ad the same price ish . The quality was nothing compared to this one.

I would highly recommend this one to any one.:)
