Anyone see the Bates Caprilli dressage saddle reduced from £796 to £69?

After getting over the shock and being prepared to buy them all, have been informed they have been withdrawn from sale as it was a mis-print, should be £699!

Even my OH spotted that when I left the catalogue conveniently out. After I got over the shock that my OH looked through it, I was already to order a saddle or too. Damn!

I had to keep going back to check I wasn't imagining it!

Where do they stand legally I wonder?

I suppose it was so obviously a misprint you couldn't expect to buy one for that price.

Bet heads will roll in the proof reading department.

I emailed them (facetiously) ordering one, and got a very straightlaced reply, bless them. Legally they don't have to honour the misprinted price, that's a longstanding myth. (Sigh) would have been nice , though...
PS proofreaders don't exist now (I know, I was one!)
