ok so i posted last week as i was struggling with my pony and her spring grass madness and got some positive advice! started on equimins serenity and we shall see on this front. but today i am rather deflated, took pony for a sj lesson 3 days ago and did some tricky filler practice and she seemed to grow in confidence and although buzzy had def learned something
so the plan was to go back to clear round schooling night but after speaking to a friend about hiring some sj on grass at another venue they reckon my pony is on overload and i should turn her away
so we never went jumping.
she is a buzzy chesnut mare, raced til she was 6 and is now rising 10, ive had her since she raced and she does get this way at this time of year. so am i being cruel persevering when she is on this state of mind or would you stick at it?
sorry for the rambles, biscuits for all reading
