Anyone used one of these? I'm a step away from getting out my purse to order one but would like to know your experiences, good and bad first. I can't seem to find anything bad about them from what i've read online so far!

Me! Like day and night for my boy, now we have no fighting the bit, no rooting, no snatching the reins out of my hands, no twisting his head!

I had previously tried loads of bits including a Myler comfort snaffle.

The Rockin S raised bit after the intial fussing for about 15 minutes - left mine in the stable with a pile of hay so piggy could get his head around it - has not offered any problems (with bitting!) since.

In fact he now bridles really easy, no more running to the back of the stable when the bridle arrives.

What I would say is, don't shove it up high with the however many wrinkles BHS says you are meant to have, let it stay down lowish - not to bang his teeth, but we have no wrinkles at all and he never offers to get his tongue over the bit.

If you are not sure, email pics to Mark Sulan who created the Rockin S bits. He is just so so helpful and emails you right back if you aren't sure about the fit or level.

Couldn't recommend a bit more highly. But wipe it off every time you ride or it will go rusty. Which is fine, mine has bits of rust because it is sweet iron, but it isn't rusty all over. Not that he minds, but I do!!!

Thanks sjp1. It must fit a bit ike the Peewee then? Thats to be fitted with no wrinkles. Have got that for our other boy and trialled it on Freddy. He got on quite well with it so figured he liked the sweet iron so hopefully this will be a match for him.
