Rode a school pony today, hehe what fun!!

Had a mise en selle lesson today (lesson without stirrups). I didn't want to do it with my rocket fuelled horse as 10 mins is ok but an hour is too much and end up being tanked around the ring, which is just no fun!! So rode one of the school horses I learnt on and wow, what a difference!! It was so much fun and soooo easy and relaxing. The difference was unbelievable, cantering with no sitrrups and no hands and not worrying about it. Anyway, actually saw how much really I must have improved with my horse as would never have enjoyed that before. So although my horse is a struggle I do see I have actually improved, so feeling pretty good!!!

I love experiences like that! Not only because it's great to ride a different & easy horse, but it also makes you think how you've improved as a rider!
