rode for the first time in over a year!

i rode today for the 1st time in 1 year and 7 days! i am soooo happy i finally managed it! i got on one of my mares in august and went around the indoor twice - in walk as she had been napping with hubby but that was it!
its quite sad as i miss my mare that i lost, the last few days shes been on my mind a lot as the last time i rode, she was going so well.
anyway - felt i wanted to shout it from the rooftops!

I rode my mare for the first time in six months the other week because of my health problems, and burst into tears because i was so happy how sad is that?? she was so good ,she knows when i'm on her and she compensates for me being such a flid!!!. When my daughter rides her she is compleatly different and gives her the ride of her life every time but still looks after her. She is a pony of a life time, goes hunting and showing and is a winner everytime, in my books any how dont need a judge to tell me that,

I just had my second riding session in over 4 years! I've got no balance whatsoever, I nearly fell off doing sitting trot with no stirrups LOL

at least I can walk this morning!
