Has anyone used these, could they be useful for a horse who forces his head down and then bounces and bucks round the showjumping ring? Think it would really help us if he was looking at the fences!!!!

He is a difficult horse to bit, very strong but put too much bit in and he backs right off

One of ours is in a cooper roller, but we only put him in it coz he started to lean on the bit. Not sure it would do much for a bucking horse and they arent a particulary strong bit, just like a snaffle as far a strength goes. Worth a try though.
You could try a waterford maybe.

I ride Bo in a D-ring copper roller too. It's just slightly stronger than a normal snaffle really and agree, not sure it would do much for the bucking

Thanks guys, dont think anything would stop this horse bucking, id be worried if he didnt!!!! Just want something to keep him from leaning down on the bit and forcing his head down. He gets excited in the ring and this is his latest trick, i would quite like to stop it before he gets really good at it :
