buckskin is what often gets called dun over here (dun is a different gene with dorsal stripe etc) . I thought it looked smokey black on the screen but it's quite dark so i am sure he will dry out lighter.
Sire is black and white.

Yeah she keeps walking round to get back in front of him, had a mare like that she was so proud of him she wouldn't let him go round to the back of her, we ended up having to hold her still so baby could drink
 
7.30 I get picked up by Caroline one of our liveries for a rare night out at the cinema - I tell her I just have to check on Ari & Lola before we go... so I nip in and say that she will probably foal tomorrow and that Lola would too...

Then after we have parked the car I realise I have left my phone in the car but decided as we were running late I'd not bother going back to get it as our grom Stef was also out with us and had her phone....

We get out of the cinema at about 11pm - to find a text from Chris on Stef's phone saying she'd had the foal and where were we - I didn't beleive him til I got back to the car and saw a piccie he'd sent - oh and 13 messages from HHO's and our own forum members! Plus 8 missed calls!

Bloody typical - I have now declared that I am not going to leave the farm until the rest of the ladies have foaled down! Am so peed off I missed it - although I feel like I was right there reading this thread as it tells me what was going on! !

But I am very pleased with him - he's beautiful - lovely head on him, although a bit down on his back pasterns at the mo so will have to keep an eye on them..

Thanks to all who texted or rang - the irony is my phone NEVER leaves my side usually! But the one night I need it I don't have it!

Lola is next and looking VERY close...
 
Keltic the next mare is due in the 11th but has not even started bagging up yet - I think Lola our palomino WB will be next 0 she's not due for 2 weeks but is bagged right up - full and hard so shouldn't be too long... She's the mare on cam at the mo - not such a good camera angle though...
