The lady sounds very nice, but not sure that the pony will be right for her and her daughter. Have explained everything, as I want her to go to a good home.
well i made offer on saddle i prefer was up for £345 i offered £300 and they ......accepted yay.
so gotta go pay for that in min.
already rode today in field tried diff bit, didnt feel much diff but will ride in it again tomoz. tried to do some flatwork today, she is so reluctant to move from left leg though and stiff on that rein i think.
ohh in a bit of a panic now as show doesnt have anyone spare to read my second test
also have a decision shall i do novice show hunter class or small sj class (2ft), at the mo the sj class is looking the best option, showing seems like alot of work
oh and does anyone know if a black girth with a white saddlecloth will be ok for dressage?
I'm just in for a quick cuppa then off to feed the beasties - had a lesson today and the big grey lump was a very good boy - even got the diva walking through water!!!
ldlp - black girth and white saddlecloth is ok for stressage!!
Did you get a bit sorted?? good news about saddle - how is it feeling now?
Mine...not so good. My mare is definitely NOT for the people who came to see her!!! Perhaps more on that later, but, I've also booked the vet's for Monday, so we have a rather sad household tonight.
it been perfectly fine, had Hp with me at work today and also hacked out with her tonight, OH is just being too nice and understands that we can't be together no more. Have the house for a while til we actually sort things out.
He's told quite a few people before gossip and rumours fly.
Horrible being in shop and customers knowing we are finished.
But am holding my head up high
Thanks for the G&T Slinky, I really needed that!
I have some lemon drizzle cake if anyone would like some?
Just to let you know, the people that came to see my mare, told them everything, and I mean everything about her. They rode her, she was good, but they weren't really for her, despite stressing that she was not a novice ride!!!
Anyway, I think the nail in the proverbial was when lady said ... "ah well, we'll keep looking for a push button horse!"
WTF I had explained until I was blue in the face that she isn't pushbutton!!!
I couldn't help it but, my mouth opened before I thought, and I did say "you won't find one of those with all tack for 1500 quid!!"
I shouldn't have said that, as she may well do, but at this point I just thought, "what am I doing here??"
Anyway, that's that story, sorry to off load that all on you!!!
Some people are just unbelieveable when looking at horses/ponies!! We had similar stupid things with a couple of people who came looking at one of our ponies. We spelt it out in words of one syllable that she is not a first pony but is a whizzy showjumping pony but still got people turning up whose kids were clearly terrified and and best still needed to be on a lead rein
......Even if they had offered us double we wouldn't have sold her to such utter numptys.....
samstar - I guess it will be horrible for a while but there will soon be something or someone else for them all to talk about
. Get out and enjoy your neds when it all gets a bit sh*t. Chin up - we are here to support you!!
Lemon drizzle sounds lovely - just putting the kettle on - anyone??
Aw naw, this is terrible - seeing as we didn't see it can we just pretend it hasn't happened and keep the Rollestone threads anyway - please please please - I like our chats.
S_V begins to lose it, bottom lip quivers.....
WWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Oh no, wailing has started!
