What an evening - have just had to sort out out little Welsh Sec A - think she has got lami

- is tucked up in bed with a haynet of soaked hay and a tummy full of Happy Hoof and bute

. Fingers crossed for an improvement in the morning - bless her little hooves!!

I remembered to pick up clean numnah tonight but forgot her girth, it either meant driving back down to village or wearing the red.
Friend who was meeting us was already on her way, had no choice really but I will be throwing it in the bin and will get another spare girth in another colour

Hope your pony will be ok.
Mines been in starvation paddock quite a few weeks now and is nearly at correct weight, just needs muscle now.

Magnums on the way!!

Ponies are kept on a small paddock all the time - have never had lami in the 8/9 years they have been here - Sec A and shettie both live on air - well hopefully we have caught it in time so no long term damage. Poor little ponio - she is such a little baby - just wants cuddles!!

well phoned saddler didnt have any in my price rabge that would fit her, so just gotta take saddle back get refund.

so went to wychanger barton and got 3 secondhand ones to try, which gona do tomoz. one is a albion, one is a prestige and one i think was l&r??

My two little ones are in at the moment too. The mini I think has been caught really early, but you can't take any chances so they are both in!

Funny he always wants lots of cuddles when he's not feeling so good!!!

It's a nightmare getting saddles sometimes (I've been through it!) but persevere and you'll find the right one.

It's freezing here tonight, the temperature has really dropped!!

Good post Slinky about BP's. They can be cumbersome, but they do prevent a lot of very nasty injuries. Hope the people on your yard get better soon

Just spoke to my sister (checking up on her poorly pony!) and checked it wasn't just me!!

Ta - I wear my BP when out hacking - to old so don't bounce and I can't afford to be off work!! Never wore one when I was younger (didn't have them then!

) and thats when I rode nutters and took risks - Ahhhh - the benefit of hindsight!!
