No surprise about the foals - when I gave up at about 11.30 they were both happily munching

- its the usual story - not really in foal just fat!!

I don't know about where you are but no self respecting mare would foal here today - would get blown away!!!

So for now keeping one I've got and must try harder to get the fat off her shoulders.
Had my back tweaked again by chiro and gotta go back again in 2 weeks

Now off to work as one of my staff has phoned in sick

i'm back from feeding and walking the dog!! Was planning to ride tonight but there was a fun ride coming through the yard and the wind howling so I decided against - especially as my boy was being an arse on Sunday and I am trying to get him out on his own

.....wish the wind would drop - its chuffing freezing!!

Anyway where is MM99 with the odds?? I have money to spend....

That little Teddy is just so sweet - had his nose in mums feed bowl before crashing out flat in the middle of the stable - Matilda is still licking the bowl for stray calories....

Ok so after studying the odds I'd like 5k on Kat haveing a Filly tonight. 5K on 11.02pm. 2K on lemon mankini, deely boppers and pink fluffy wellies!!!

4K on Eclise having a colt tonight. 4K on 10.52pm. and 2K on tutu with stilettos and suspenders!!!!

Really windy here today, would blow you away!

and bit of a sad decision made

I'll give you a very quick overview, but as this is a Rollestone post, I won't go on!

Oh helped today with neddies, and one of ours (he really is dangerous) nearly took his head off! We've discussed this and decided that the time has come to PTS. Have already spoken to vet etc on subject and they agree. It's just that I have really been struggling to come to terms with doing this. Today I was given no choice! So it will have to be done soon

Sorry to hear your sad news F_S

- we have had some here at the yard too - friends lovely little mare had xrays and she has broken her back

- friend to upset to tell us more but little mare here in sunshine at moment...

On to cheerier things.....the good news is neither mare has been eating much

- in fact for them nothing at all!!

I am warming up the balloons and pins - so as soon as they all sod off from the yard I will start to blow them up!!
