Slinky - don't know much about ulcers, but, aren't they caused by stress/feed/training etc. Think they have to scope to find them though. Apparently, more grazing, and a more natural management helps. I always though windsucking and cribbing was a sign of gastric ulcers in horses but I could be wrong!

Evening Samstar, Slinky and FS..

I have been trying to ween myself off HHO, especially after we all got locked away, so i did as my therapist told me and took lots of exercise and it made me sleep most of the weekend, lots of running and riding. I did go on some of the other threads on here too and they upset me! There are some really nasty people out there that think the worst of people! I just dont wanna get involved with all that stuff..

So is everyone well, I am peed off with this weather that we have had the last two days

Oh no! Poor dog...and poor bank balance!!

I swear the small animal vets just don't know what to charge! £30 for a tube of blasted cream that didn't work, was horrible and ineffective!!

Her skin is really dry, asked vet if it was mange, but no, as it would have transfered to the others! So, after telling vet I would wash in malaceb (she said yes) put awful cream she gave me on...still there!!.

I am thinking of putting some Imaverol on her just to see!

Red wine coming your way!

I would be tempted to try some aloe juice in your dogs food - I find with all sorts of things it works better than most of the very expensive tubes and ointments from the vet - and best of all you can keep using it forever if need be as there are no side effects - except getting rid of smelly farts in dogs which I would say is a selling point!!

Sweep will be going on a pre-op course of aloe vera and will stay on it post op to help him heal quickly and cleanly.

How much do you feed?? and is it bitter?

Just wondered, as I'll mix it with something to get it in her if you don't have to feed loads

I give mine a capful - thay usually come with a little measuring cap attached - twice a day which is 25mls a time. I have had it too and it has a funny taste but not that bad - and none of my animals have ever not eaten because of it - but then to all of them death is the only thing that would stop them eating

.....My dogs (and my friends dogs that had it) just have it poured over their biscuits (they have Skinners or JWB) and eat it.

Hey all - Cheers F_S was very pleased about Rangers!!!
smile.gif

S_U Job hunting is on going as Scottish teaching jobs are so few and far between that we won't hear until the summer holidays - waiting for people to retire - so I need to keep applying adn applying - I must admit I'm losing the will to live.

Risky is coming along well, vets are delighted with him so far however he is getting a bit of cabin fever!!!!

Wine - why absolutely

And I'll tell Inca to have a word with him about box rest - that little monkey had it down to a fine art - was waited on hand and foot and accepted cuddles when lying down....
