I posted a couple of days ago about my pony rolling while I was riding - you all gave me some really great advice, so I thought I'd give you an update!
I took him out for a hack today despite the terrible wind - he was very good, he did nap a bit when he heard the horse he lives with calling him, but we got further than last time!
I have also been doing some ground work with him and have managed to stop him rolling a couple of times in the school, so hopefully he will learn that it is not acceptable to roll with all his tack on (or me riding him).
I am a little bit nervous about riding in the school again in case he tries to roll again, but I'm sure we'll get there. I'm just going to keep getting to know him and enjoy being with him for now!
