Rolling

Just curious to see if anyone else's horse has ever rolled when they've been leading them in hand? Daisy isn't a big roller tbh and you don't see her do it very often. Today she must have had an itch because rather than waiting until she got into her field she went down as I led her across the portion of field that I'm resting. Made huge kick marks in the grass that is supposed to be growing

Flynn very often rolls when arrive at comps (to my disgust, why do I even bother cleaning him!!!) And pretty much always after hes done xc and been washed. Titus rolls after xc too. Flynn rolls every night in his stable as soon as I take his rugs of (only in winter when can't go out field!), hes so cute at times!!!!

Mine rolled after a fun ride while he was tied to the trailer - luckily it was a long rope!

One of mine likes to roll all the time, generally after we have finished XC, SJ so I have to keep walking her around..... Shes done it a few times with tack on and I have to be really quick to get her up before she goes right over... My poor tack !!! Can be quite embarassing too .

Went through a spell of doing it at one particular livery yard, we had a 10 minute walk through various fields to get to ours, but as soon as we were on grass he needed a pee... few yards later a roll... and then had to get up and down again to do the other side!

My mare does this quite often in the summer going through the school to the field, i just stand back and let her get on with it.

Both mine do this - it can be quite disconcerting when they suddenly just drop
