Hi All,

I have a Romainian Cob. Just wondered if anyone else has one, and if so do you fancy swaping stories and pictures?

My girl has a lovely gental nature, and is just happy to be loved and fed. She has loads of scars, particularly over her back end.

Would love to hear from anyone who has one.

There are three Lithuanian cobs on my yard, thats near Romania

I'm not keen on the three on my yard though, they're all really bolshy and "not all there" if you know what I mean

I have no history of her, I've written to the first owner on her passport, but unfortunately they never replied. Although I havn't got her original Romanian passport, only a UK one, which I'm assuming was issued when she was imported. Although I do wonder how she came over as I would of thought she would of needed one?!!

Hummm, I'm not sure how to put pictures on here as I'm not technical ... any ideas ... help!?
 
Thanks for your replies guys. I'll try and get hubby to put some pics of her for you to see, as I'm not sure what to do!

She's Romanian as in 'from Romania', although all of her history has been given to me passed own from her previous owner by 'word of mouth'.

She's not a competition pony, but a really genuine family type, and she's brill with my boys too.

I have a little cob that was imported from Romania .. she came over still on her mother and was only weeks old.
She will be 4 next week and is an absolute star. She is very pretty and temperament wise, I couldn't ask for more.
I have posted pics of her before, I'll see if I can find the post to link to it.
 
Humm .... quirky this might be a shot in the dark, but I've had my girl for 2 1/2 years. Her foal was 2 when I bought my mare. Her foal would be about 4 now ...?
 
Gosh, this is spooky. My mare came from a woman in Surrey, who had both Mum and foal (obviously, as still v young) and bought them from Reading sales.
PM me the womans name if you know it and I'll let you know if it's the same one!!
 
Quirky, how do you upload pictures? I can't seem to find the picture gallery.

My girl is black roan, with big ears, bless her.
 
You have to load pictures into Photbucket and then copy the image code into your post.
Was the lady you bought her off called Linda?
 
quirky, I've just sent you a PM! Yes her name was Linda - oh this is weird. I have a picture of my girls foal aged 2. PM your e-mail address, and I'll send it to you with pictures of my girl. I know I can send send pics that way.

Its a shame you didn't get her Romanian passport it would have been kinda cool to try and trace her back (difficult but fun). She sounds like a nice girl & it would be really nice to see her & foalie

WOW!!! Baby and Bella (although we used to call her Lardy!! - So mean!) used to belong to my Mum!!
How lovely to hear they are both doing so well!

In fact it made me well up a little!
