After being told on Friday that the mule needed another 10 days in the vets to treat his eye infection I was suprised to get a phonecall today to say he could come home
To say he is a difficult patient is an understatement
It would appear that Muley has not endeared himself to our vets and they were eager for him to come home - the sooner the better
So we turned up in our lorry and Mr Worried hid in embaressment
- he thought we looked ridiculous rolling up in the lorry to collect my mum's prize possesion
Despite asking not to remove his headcollar someone had kindly taken it off, so I spent 30 seconds on the end of a very cross mule while I attempted to lasoe him!
His one redeeming feature is that he does at least load
Arrived back to the field and unloaded a very grumpy, angry and hot mule.
He was very glad to be home and proceeded to beat the crap out of Ron who to be fair didn't exactly looked thrilled to see him.
However as Ron has just turned 1 took some pics so you can see Ron AKA as Ron the Swan - not convinced the transfomration is complete, but he is definitely looking better and has grown into his head.
Everytime he looks better weight wise he grows another foot and looks skinny again! He is entered for Kent so will see how the show pony pans out.
A couple fo pics from this evening
One very cross mule
Ron aged 1 year and 10 days!
