So this evening I've been up to the yard to finish putting the wood pellets into the stables before the boys come in tomorrow night.

Put pellets in, tipped over a bucket of water, left the stables to get the boys in for half an hour to have some tea.

Couldn't see Ron in the dark, but Tom was standing by the gate, so I just brought him in and left the gate from Ron as usual. Whilst I was doing Tom's feet and brushing him Ron came onto the yard and put himself into his stable.

Two moments later I went to do his feet and brush him to find him browsing through the bedding to find the unfluffed up pellets... so that he could eat them!!!! Fortunately he couldn't have had very much, he'd only been in a minute at most, and most of them were soaked and fluffed up.

Naughty, special horse. So I'm on colic watch! :mad:Grrr...
still. It's got to be better than driving up to Band practice to listen to grown adults bickering like school kids!:mad:
