Ok, so who is going have a go at this?

I just spoke to RoR and basically there will be a big class in the morning and the top 10 will go through to a final after racing. Apparently the fences will all be hunting type fences like hedges and stuff and not too technical.

I have just downloaded my form for our master to sign, lets just hope my boy doesn't find a dragon under every fence without hounds in front of him!

Im just eyeing it up at the moment!! I know the bridge, port etc will be fine!!

Its weather she will find issues with the scary fences and having to jump them on her own!! I think she should do - more than capable!! Need to get a few more days hunting in on her though yet!!

Got any photos of your boy??

I haven't really got any decent photos of him yet, only had him since November and obviously the snow got in the way. Have managed to hunt quite a bit though and he is a star jumping big hedges and is pretty good with uprights. He is a bit of a fairy though and I can imagine he will find dragons in every fence (despite having run and won over fences)! He has been to Cheltenham so could be interesting to see what he thinks to being back there!:D

I'm not sure how many people will enter, if there are loads the morning could be a long one. I may need a large drink if we are going to be jumping the cross country race fences.;);)

He is hilarious actually, he won in soft ground, goes like a demon out hunting in the deepest ground but at home if you take him for a canter in any sort of mud he behaves like a lady in high heels!

Hipflask is an excellent idea and perhaps we should do some practice with the port off a tray thing as well!!!
