Considering doing some ROR classes with my new mare- not sure whether we should show as riding horse or hack? She is 15.1/2- not measured her officially.

She is a bit light yet for the show ring I think although did read on ROR page they don't want obese horses!!









She has pretty good conformation I believe and is very clean limbed although I know ROR it doesn't matter too much for the odd blemish. I can get standing pictures if required.

I'll get a side on today!
She moves nicely- she is light footed and quite pointy toed, she Is very rhythmical! Generally scores mid 70s out dressaging for a rough idea and gets 8s for paces (I know dressage not the same as showing but gives an idea!)

No they dont want them obese but she will need more condition for the show ring - take a look at equinational photography or ES Photography for tips on those classes and the best way to turn her out. Good luck!
