Rory, again

Brought him in to the vets again yesterday - he was due for Cartrophen shot no.3 but had injured his hind leg out walking the evening before. He was mainpulated which pointed to a problem with the hip liagaments. The decision was taken to xray him. Got a call yesterday afternoon to say his stifle joint needed surgery to stabalise it and his hip needed investigative surgey. Poor boy stayed in last night and goes under the knife today

He probably won't be allowed home until tomorrow. I'm dreading a "quality of life" talk from the vets this afternoon post-surgery.

Rory's out of surgery - he'd ruptured his cruciate ligament so they removed it and one of the meniscus. He's not allowed home until tomorrow afternoon and they're talking about 5-6 weeks of recovery..
