Rosettes- What to do ?

I need some opinions. As some of you know I am running some online dressae and horse agility events. I am trying to keep down the cost of entering and now I am stuck, I have found a place to source some really nice cheap rosettes.

Do I -

Rosettes to 3rd place and charge £2 entry fee

Or

Rosettes to 6th place and charge £3.50 entry fee to cover P and P as well
 
I would say £3.50 is a bit steep for one class (depending on rosettes though :cool:) but I would go to 6th place. Depends on entries I guess.

Are you doing it to make money or for fun?
 
I don't think £3.50 is expensive at all, look at Interdressage - they charge £10.50 a dressage class and £8.50 for a showing class!
I'd place to 6 and charge £3.50, but as long as you state what you're doing from the start I don't think it matters.
 
I think £3.50 is very reasonable so would agree that rosettes to 6th place would be good.
Could you maybe make certificates instead of rosettes if the price is an issue? Maybe rosettes to 3rd and certificates for the rest. Just an idea! But as I said I think £3.50 is fine
