What a shame

- Is Rosie hoping to do more P2P?

Yes - but it's a "let's see what happens" ad. Rosie has dropped out of school and now has a part time job with lovely people who will let her do flexible hours so she can devote some time to point to pointing this winter - she really loves p2p and is determined to do well. Like lots of you, they have too many horses and feed is expensive so something had to give and they couldn't decide which one to sell.
She certainly hasn't given up on trying for the team and if BB sells she'll probably be looking for a slightly more advanced prospect (do let me know if you know anyone with a promising horse who needs a rider

) and if not, she'll continue his education alongside working with the pointers.
Thanks for your interest - will let you all know when I know anything

Incidentally, I shall be gutted if BB goes because it's so easy to find him after events amongst the hundreds of pro photos on websites

BB is the only one which actually belongs to her (was her 12th birthday present) but she also competes Just a Token, Lotus Eater and Connie who belong to her parents. The pointers belong to her Grandad - her other Grandad, not my husband!

Yes they are so expensive to keep and even more to compete and even when you win you are luck to get your entry fee back.I'm sorry she has dropped out of school because you never know what is around the corner and an injury can stop you riding and a good education is important.Still she has time on her side and she must do what she thinks is best and concentrating on one horse will be easier.
I wish her the best and hope to see her competing in future

Yes, and quite a few youngsters they've bred to bring on too.
I think it's a shame she's dropped out as well CH because she was acknowledged as an A* student by her school but you know what teenagers are like (I do remember being one, albeit an awfully long time ago

). Anyway - your best wishes for her are much appreciated and here's hoping she fulfils her potential (or at least has lots of fun)
