My horse who has been headshaking and just looking miserable after being ridden is going to be referred. Vet was up yesterday and watched him being ridden and lunged. Symptoms are will not go forward in the canter, bucking and bunny hopping and just looks uncomfortable. Vet nerved blocked proximal ligament but no improvement. Much happier on lunge. Saddle been checked, teeth and we waiting for blood results. Back on bute trial as much better on it and she now wants to refer for poor performance. I am with Rossdales Herts and obviously they want to refer to Newmarket however RVC half an hour away. Need to make a decision!!!

I have no experience of Rossdales and have used RVC in the past.

I've recently been using Newmarket Equine Hospital (about an hour and a half away in the lorry) and cannot rate them highly enough. I've been kept informed at all times and the stable management is second to none.
