I think this type of shoeing could have advantages of both barefoot and traditional shoes. Looking on with interest.

The foot can still move independently laterally, and can expand and contract.

It is interesting , but the woman needs a good farrier to trim her herd of barefoot ex racehorses and proper management, if all her horses have poor feet one has to say err ......what!
She seems to suggest that track horses are shod in order to promote long toes, this is just not correct. The photo shows an extremely long toe, not many are like that. Poor farriers just don't know what they are doing.
We don't have just anyone shoeing horses in the UK, but some qualified farriers seem to have no idea how to balance, and many owners don't know enough about feet to know if their farrier is doing a good job.
I don't like the idea, as the sidewalls are going to take a pounding, it fails as a barefoot shoe and as a fullered shoe used for racehorses, whether on track or off.

I'd be surprised if they stay on, and if the glue is strong, then I wouldn't be surprised if they rip foot off when they are torn off. The shearing forces going round bends without the toe to brace it must be huge.

We had one racehorse with stick ons, he ran on grass with aluminium plates, but had stick ons when in training, they were not a success, and they were the usual shape.
