Elsie has a new partner in crime. Our JRT Roxy. We walk on the fields behind the sand dunes every day and there several warrens under some gorse bushes. Elsie and Roxy find a suitably rabbit smelling (I assume) hole, stick their heads down and refuse to be budged. It is fairly easy to pull a small JRT out by the tail, but getting several stone of docked Rottie out is a trickier issue!

Elsie has settled in so well, and is so good in every other way (well almost, we still have an issue with the cats, but that is getting better!), but she really is deaf and blind to us when rabbits are about :)

Our Staffy is very confused by the Elsie and Roxy's fixation with holes in the ground and really can't understand what all the fuss is about!

I wrongly assumed that Elsie would be more like Poppy the Staffy than the JRT, but she really is a JRT in Rottie form.

Any suggestions as to how to get Elsie to listen to us when we call her away from rabbit holes greatly recieved :D
