Rough cost- hock medicating?

? oh wow I wasn’t really expecting that. I vaguely remembered being surprised at how cheap it was when the vet suggested it (ages ago)
We don’t need work ups/x rays etc so that should cut a chunk out.

Both hocks & 2 canon joints were done on one of mine & it was just over £400 if I remember correctly. This included some sedation. We have this done about every 12 months depending on the medication the vet uses & our horse is like a new horse when it's done.

Thanks! I’ll get it booked in. It’s not a desperate thing. Last time we saw a vet he said if I felt after a warm up he was still a bit stiff we would do it. He’s 20 and I notice it more when the farrier is etc more than anything but he’s no longer schooling just hacking lightly so I don’t think he “warms up” as such, as he used to.
