does anyone know if theres going to be a 2nd series?
i know it was pretty (well very!) rubbish, but secretly i quiet liked it

Im with you on that one its like wild at heart that rubbish but you cant wait a week for the next one, I do hope they are putting it back on
 
I missed the last episode!! as they changed the time of it grrr

and to my shame i emailed the BBC and complained and got a lovey email back god im sad...

Thank you for your e-mail regarding 'Rough Diamond'.

I appreciate your disappointment that the last episode in the series was
broadcast at 19.00 instead of in the usual 20.00 slot.

This was not a schedule change as it was broadcast as billed in the
Radio Times and announced on the programme's website.

We do of course want to secure the widest possible audience for our
programmes - which are financed by our licence payers. This means
ensuring the programmes receive adequate publicity and prominence in
trails and listings magazines, and that they are placed in schedule
slots that the intended audience is likely to find convenient.

We know that erratic scheduling can lead to the frustration and
annoyance of our viewers and so we try to find a suitable regular slot
for our popular drama series. Unfortunately, sometimes other commitments
can affect weekly schedules.

Nevertheless, I appreciate your disappointment at missing the last
episode and let me assure you that your complaint has been fully
registered on our daily audience log. This internal document will be
made available to the scheduling team and Senior BBC Management.

Feedback of this nature helps us when making decisions about future BBC
programmes and your comments will play a part in this process.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to contact us with the
strength of your concerns.

It was widely reported last year that it was axed. I think I put a post on here about it at the time as the story featured in the Racing Post as the series was racing related and was the only British horse racing related series that I am aware of since Trainer some many years ago.

In my defence i was bored at work and they were telling me about the last one, so i said right im going to complain!! oh well ill have to wait for the repeats....

Haha me neither....is it totally sad that I taped the whole lot?

I actually quite liked the series (despite the fact there were plenty of things wrong with it)
